The Santa Barbara Young Adult Ministry invites you to: MASS ON THE ISLAND:
Join us for a day trip at the Channel Islands on Saturday, September 12th! Father Skip will be joining us and will celebrate Mass on Santa Cruz Island, at Prisoner’s Harbor.

We have 10 boat tickets and the trip looks like it is sold out so it’s first come first serve — whoever buy their tickets first, gets the spot!
Some things to know:
- Arrive at 8:30 am to the Island Packers boat launch in Ventura Harbor. Which is one hour before we depart, BUT it is in their policy that you must arrive early, “Failure to comply will result in trip cancellation with no refund.” Be there at 8:30 am. Be on time. Thank you!
- We will return on the 4:00 pm boat from the island back to Ventura Harbor getting to Ventura by about 5:30 pm.
- Pack a lunch / snacks for the day, a swimsuit if you want to go swimming, wear hiking clothes, bring a hat and sunscreen. We will go for a group hike to find a spot to have Mass and then there will be time you can also spend at the Ocean!
- The only food you can buy on the boat are snacks so pack sufficient food for yourself for the day.
- Take Dramamine at least an hour before if you get seasick.
- If you wanted to snorkel out on the island rent some gear, or bring your own!
