Position: Pro-Bono Volunteer – Spirited Lamb Event Planner
Commitment: Project-Based (2-3 events per month) | Location: Ventura and Santa Barbara counties

About Spirited Lamb
Spirited Lamb Volunteers exist to uplift young adults (ages 21–39) who are exploring faith, seeking to strengthen their faith, or hoping to connect with a vibrant, values-driven community. Through meaningful in-person encounters and promotion of local events, we support faith-based connection and growth across Ventura and Santa Barbara counties.

The Role
We’re seeking a passionate and organized Event Planner to help bring our ministry to life through welcoming, impactful in-person events. From social mixers to worship nights to retreats, you’ll play a vital role in creating spaces were faith and community meet.

What You’ll Do

• Help plan and coordinate monthly events (e.g., Tongues of Fire, Saintly Sips)
• Support regional events (e.g., Worship Night, Women’s Brunch, Leadership Social, Mardi Gras Ball, Christmas Market)
• Collaborate with parishes and venues to secure locations and manage logistics
• Develop event timelines, budgets, and volunteer roles
• Work with our communications team to promote events across platforms
• Attend events (when possible) to assist with setup, check-in, creating a welcoming environment
• Lead a small volunteer team (3-4 people) and delegate tasks for day-of execution – welcoming guests, managing logistics, follow-up coordination, and more
• Ensure all events are reflect Catholic values and are inclusive, joyful, and engaging

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Creativity, initiative, and a heart for spreading the Catholic faith in an inclusive, inspiring way
