Join us for a day on the California Camino! We will be walking 18 miles from St. Joseph’s Chapel to Mission Santa Barbara on March 2nd!

Is there a fee?
- No fee! Every pilgrim is responsible for their own breakfast, lunch and snacks. Water refill opportunities will be available throughout the day. Optional dinner at Presto Pasta.
- Participants are responsible for their own safety and well-being. The organizers of this event are providing a route and itinerary only.
Will there be ride accommodations from Santa Barbara back to Carpinteria?
- Right now we are thinking a collective Uber ride would be the easiest. The cost would be approximately $10 per person. We will write back with updates as we explore options.

What do I bring?
- Water (2, 24oz water bottles – there will be opportunities to refill throughout day)
- Packed lunch and snacks (food will not be provided)
- A rosary!
- Purple attire for our Lenten Pilgrimage!
- Great walking shoes or hiking shoes
- A thin, long sleeve shirt for sun protection
- Moleskin/bandaids (for possible blisters)
- Hat
- Sunscreen
- Sunglasses
- Walking poles or sticks could be helpful
- THERE IS A CHANCE OF RAIN, SO PLEASE BRING APPROPRIATE GEAR
Where is lunch?
- Lunch will be at Manning Park in Montecito. The park has restrooms and is near a commercial shopping area in case you need supplies.
Where is dinner?
- Dinner will be at Presto Pasta (2830 De La Vina St, Santa Barbara 93105). Payment for dinner is not provided, but we hope to see you there!
